I’ve been working online since…: I have been supporting C-Level executives in the corporate world for over 15 years and have 10 years of managerial experience including managing office employees, an airline reservation center and a travel agency. In many of my positions I took on 2 roles managing them both successfully; also I came into many positions as the first one in that position so creating it from nothing. I always enjoy this type of challenge.

I’ve been consulting as an EA and Projects Control Administrator for the past 9 years in corporate America, 5 of these I’ve been able to work part time virtually which I truly enjoy and plan to move FT virtually by the end of summer 2010.

Why I love working as an OBM: I really enjoy running a business managing projects and people. While working in an office environment I was always the one called upon for the more difficult tasks because management knew it would be taken care of efficiently and quickly. As an OBM I will do the same for the business owner.

My Strengths and Areas of Specialty: I love managing projects and people and find I’m quite good at it. I’m very detail oriented, love multi-tasking, am extremely organized, and follow through with everything. I’m a more casual person so you will not find me stressed when giving me a huge task with a deadline. I’m very strong and confident in everything I do. I love to manage the day to day of business.

My favorite kind of client to work with is…: A business owner who knows where they are going in their business however needs help getting there. Someone who doesn’t micro-manage, allows their team to work the task. Somebody uplifting and positive; more casual, not a corporate mindset and who wants a partnership relationship, not an employee relationship.

My Business Goals for this year are…: To continue on growing my skills and successfully supporting 3 clients.

This past year I have focused on training to gain the necessary skills to work FT as an Online Business Manager. In February 2010 I attended a virtually based intensive OBM training and am currently in a mentorship program which I’m gaining much more knowledge in order to support businesses in a bigger role.

Training over the past year has included – Marketing, Merchant Accounts, Shopping Cart, Auto-Responders, Setting up Products/Programs (online trainings, free online books, ezines, etc), Broadcasts, Teleclasses, Affiliate Programs, blog posting/Maintenance, etc).
