Many Online Business Managers come to the profession from the office assistant side as former Virtual Assistants. I arrived here in August 2009 after decades of corporate and small business management experience. The work is a perfect fit for my experience and my passion: I help people organize their businesses to maximize their potential and reach successful financial outcomes.

My business, www.CindyMorus.com, includes my services as Certified Online Business Manager, Membership Manager, and Virtual Events Manager. I have the skills and experience to make things happen for overwhelmed entrepreneurs with lots of big ideas they can’t get implemented because there’s just too much to do only a daily basis. That’s where I come in. I say, “No more boring and tedious – give it to me!” I locate the resources to get it done – whether it’s people or technology.

As your Online Business Manager, I’m looking for ways to create more time in your day so you can focus on what only you can do. This might include managing other staff and contractors, managing product development and fulfillment, customer service issues, – anything that increases revenue and lowers expenses. And very importantly, together with the business owner, I create an online presence for the business.

I make things happen, I’m very organized, and I’m a creative problem-solver. I’m full of ideas – the kinds of ideas that break the big visions of entrepreneurs down into steps and turn them into reality. I often uncover your overlooked opportunities because I bring an outside perspective to your company.

Prior experience includes money coaching in the areas of personal finance, debt reduction, divorce finance, taxes and small business cash flow. I managed my business with various online strategies and offered those to my clients. When I realized my small business clients couldn’t implement our ideas on their own, I decided to do it for them as their Online Business Manager. I’ve spent almost 30 years in technology, working as an end-user computer trainer and manager in the corporate world, for the county school district, and local businesses.

Why I love working as an OBM: I love being a partner in other businesses (without all the legal ties) – sorting through your ideas and making them come to life. I just plain love making things happen!

My Strengths and Areas of Specialty: I’m creative (not to be confused with artistic, though), a clear thinker and I can find opportunities just talking to people. I’m good at managing projects and getting things done. As a manager, I like to see the big picture with you and work to develop junior staff members to their full potential.
