I’ve been working online since…: After getting an MBA, I worked in various operational and financial roles at a number of Fortune 500 firms. I started working exclusively with technology firms about seven years ago. I love it!

For the past five years, i’ve been focused on growing an it consulting firm. revenues more than tripled to the 2 million dollar level.

I’ve had the opportunity to translate my ideas into action and make a significant contribution to the growth and development of a company. I’ve done the best work of my life and had fun the entire time.

Why I love working as an OBM: I am passonate about business growth and development. Even more than the front page story of products and services, I want to know the processes that a business uses to generate revenue. I want to learn about the nuts and bolts of the company. What are the systems and tools used to drive the business? The business manager role brings all of that together.

Business owners put their hearts and souls into their businesses. They are passionate. They don’t know any other way to be. I’m a great match for this group because I feel the same way. I’m passionate about my work, I put everything I have into it. I don’t know any other way.

My Strengths and Areas of Specialty: Operations management: Tthis is the core service and includes developing, managing and improving the systems, processes and tools of the business that support revenue generation.

Financial management: awareness of financial status is crucial to the success of any business. I am able to develop financial reporting tools and performance metrics to keep the business owner and key team members appraised of the financial condition of the business.

My favorite kind of clients to work with are…: business owners who:

  • have been in business at least two years
  • are profitable
  • are in growth mode (20%+/year)
  • revenue of $500,000+
  • have a vision for their business but need help with putting the infrastructure in place to support their growth plans
