I’ve been working online since…: 2007. My first virtual position was an internet technician for large cable company. My manager asked me to assist other virtual employees with their troubleshooting duties and soon I was helping my manager coordinate schedules, meetings, and employee reviews. As a result of this, I developed a passion for assisting. I received my diploma as an Administrative Assistant and began virtually assisting business owners in 2008. This is where I learned that business IS different online than in traditional brick and mortar companies. I discovered internet marketing and social media strategies by completing both certification programs via VAClassroom.

In order to meet my business owners’ ever growing need for me to take ownership of implementing their strategy and analyzing the results, I received my Online Business Manager certification in 2010. This course gave me the tools and knowledge I must have in order to take my client’s operations and procedures under my wings.

Why I love working as an OBM: I LOVE my career! I am committed to my clients’ passion (which becomes mine) for growing their business and maximizing their bottom line. My clients select me as their virtual partner because they are looking for someone to be proactive, knowledgeable and level-headed under pressure.

My Strengths and Areas of Specialty: Currently I assist a limited number of successful business partners to achieve higher profits by organizing their current processes, helping them develop a true game plan for their products and services, and overseeing their affiliate systems. I have extensive knowledge in 1ShoppingCart, Ning, HTML and virtual events.

My favorite kind of client to work with is…: a successful business owner who has definitive goals that they need help achieving. I thrive in environments where the client and I can meet on a regular basis to regain focus on top priorities. My passion for women’s issues helps me go deeper with clients that are looking to help energize, enlighten and personally engage with their target market. I enjoy creative thinkers that have a lot to say, write and do and want help pulling it all down a great marketing funnel!

My Business Goals for this year are…: to meet my perfect client! I want to “settle down” with one or two clients and really focus on their business, products, services and audience. Also, it is a dream of mine to offer my own product, so I am dedicated to mastering my internet marketing cup ‘o tea: affiliates. Also 2010 is the year I said I would make it to my first live event, I am hoping this will happen! I think it is important to mix and mingle with all the fabulous connections I have made in my career as a virtual sidekick.
